What you'll do

• Build the reporting that goes to investors and partners — and make it survive scrutiny
• Model commerce, marketing and support data into one number people trust
• Wire up experiments and evaluate them with honest significance
• Automate the monthly close instead of assembling it
• Say "the data can't prove that" when the data can't prove that
• Prepare the quarterly reporting — and turn ad-hoc questions around fast without breaking the model
• Dig into on-site behaviour — session recordings, heat maps, funnel drop-off — and come back with a recommendation, not a chart

Data stack

• SQL first — modelling, dbt-style transformations, tests
• Pipelines against commerce, marketing and support systems
• Warehouse and BI — whatever fits the venture, not whatever's fashionable
• TypeScript for the tooling and dashboards we build ourselves
• GA4, ad platforms and commerce APIs — known well enough to distrust
• Behaviour analytics — Hotjar or similar: heat maps, session recordings, funnel analysis
• LLM tracking — you measure the traffic and answers coming out of AI assistants, not just search engines
• LLMs as an analysis tool — you get to the answer faster with them, and you check them

Data philosophy

• One defensible number beats ten dashboards
• Attribution is a model, not a truth
• The smallest model that answers the question wins
• At low volume, noise looks like signal — respect that
• If it isn't automated, it will be wrong next month
• A finding without a recommendation is unfinished work

• You've built pipelines and models other people depend on
• You can explain a significance test to a non-technical stakeholder
• You document, so the model still works when you're on holiday
