neo is a joint initiative by IMP and mantro – and a direct response to one of the biggest blockers in innovation: the disconnect between strategic thinking and actual execution.

With neo, we combine Open Strategy principles with a cross-functional venture team. Leaders, experts and builders work side by side – collaboratively shaping new business opportunities and executing them with shared ownership.

A manufacturer's installed base is demand they have already paid for — and most of them run it as a cost centre. Steered by cost per case, not by the revenue a machine produces over its life.

We read the service function as a business — process, business case, operations and market at the same time — and we carry both halves: the rebuild of the running service organisation and the new business on the installed base, built in its own vehicle with our own equity in it. The entry point is a four-to-six-week diagnosis that ends by telling you which of the two paths is yours.
